Microneedling (Dermapen)
A skin-renewal method that stimulates natural regeneration through controlled microchannels.
Microneedling (Dermapen) is a skin-renewal method that activates the skin's natural regeneration process by creating controlled microchannels on the skin surface.
The very fine sterile needles used during the procedure stimulate the skin's production of collagen and elastin. This supports skin renewal and aims to achieve a firmer, smoother and more vibrant appearance. At the same time, the microchannels created make it easier for the special serums applied during the procedure to reach the deeper layers of the skin, which can increase the effectiveness of the treatment.
Although the treatment plan varies according to the aim of the procedure, sessions are usually carried out at 2–4-week intervals. The number of sessions is planned according to the person's needs, and 3–6 sessions are most often recommended.
The procedure takes about 30–45 minutes, varying by treatment area. A topical anaesthetic cream can be applied beforehand to improve patient comfort. After the procedure, mild redness, tenderness or dryness can be seen on the skin; these usually resolve on their own within 1–3 days, and most people can return to daily life within a short time.
